for this project i used the original image and took the pen tool to make an outline. I then stroaked the path and filled it in with black color. I then went online and found two different fonts that fit the quote. I believe that these fit the quote because both fonts are very pretty yet they also look handwritten so they have flaws, just as the quote said.

this semester has gone very well. I learned way more about photoshop than i ever thought that I would. I enjoy photo shop a lot now and am very confident that if i had to make something using it in the future I would be able to without problems. The elements of design have also helped me in my own artwork as well. All in all i feel this semester has gone very well.

Tile Project

I made a pen outline of two people holding hands and then added the text in around it. My quote represents my ability to find beauty in everyone and everything. The first font is ridged and blunt just like the statement and then the second font is flowing and beautiful to represent the word

This project has 7 layers and 74 paths. I outlined a girl, made cut outs of her hair and face with the pen tool. Then i used the free form pen tool to make the imagination, blue lips, and fire heart. I filled them with the gradient tool

 The font in this quote matches the mood because the quote is talking about how a large thing is made up of many different parts and as the fonts in this are all different, the come together to make this.

The font in this quote matches the mood because it gives off a loose and not restricted feel wich matches the "go with the flow"

The font in this quote matches the mood because it is a strong, almost aggressive looking font and this matches perfectly with talking about leading a pack of wolves.

for this picture i outlined each part o the parrot using the pen tool, then i deleted the background and filled in the parts of the parrot. Then i found an image online, copy and pasted it into the photo and layered the parrot onto it so it looked realistic

Strength Quote

My number one strength was that I appreciate the beauty in everything. I strongly agree with this and believe that appreciating the beauty in everything is something I do every single day and I try to live my life by this. The quote I chose is by Amy Bloom who is a very talented author. I love this quote so much because I strongly believe that life is very imperfect and flawed and really ugly sometimes however ever with this you can find beauty in it. Even if someone is flawed they are still beautiful. Even if an event was awful, some beauty came out of it.

For these I placed the two pictures on top of one another. I then used a layer mask and took the gradent tool and dragged it across the image until I got the blending that I wanted

Using free transform I moved the shark into a place where i could make it look realistic

Superman woman

Using the eraser too and lasso tool I coppied the face of superman onto wonder woman

For these eye color changes I used the marque tool to select a perfect circle around the eye. I then created a new layer, filler the circle with the paint bucket, and then changed the color to over lay. I then played with the opacity and the fill until the color looked realistic.

In this video we explained the different elements of CRAP. We included examples of contrast, repetition, alignment and proximity while explaining the definition of each one. We then included each of our anti bullying posters and explained how these represented each element of design. We made this possible by adding in pictures, transitions, voice overs, and fonts. Our video is meant to be light hearted and engaging, something that is interesting to watch and isn't too boring. We also added in bloopers at the end!

Bullying Project

For this picture I layered a photo of a girl on her phone onto  plain background, I then used the gradient tool to fade the bottom into back. I then Layered the silhouette of a falling man on top and erased the background. I got a picture of bright orange smoke and then changed it from "normal" to "negative" which got rid of the white background and turned the flame blue. I did this three times and layered them on top of each other to swirl from the phone to the falling person. I found a bright orange heart and changed it to negative in order to delete the back ground and make the heart a nice shinny teal to match the swirl. I after this I added the bottom slogan and faded it out while adding on the blue glow around it. I used the eye dropper to pick up the color from the swirl and used it as the font color for the main statement. After that I added a very close and fuzzy black outline. With these elements combined I have contrast with the bright blue on top of black and white, It has alignment because of the words being stacked upon each other, repetion because of the consistant use of blue, and proximity because of the way everything is placed around each other. The message of this poster is that even though you dont see the person directly, the words you are sending out through your phone or computer can seriously hurt someone. It says "send" them down because you are sending messages out over social media or texting.

four elements of design

Proximity: The apple cores are in a good proximity of each other and they are in a pair to you can see a persons face between them

Contrast: The glowing white is a strong sontrast against the white background.

Alignment: The apple cores are in line together and then the words bellow are aligned right in the middle of the apple cores and are directly on top of them.

Repetition: There is repetition because there are two apple cores that are completely the same.

1. I already knew that copy right kept people from steeling other peoples images, ideas or businesses
2. It surprised me how it is so strict and the process you have to go through to use a copy writed image 
3. I think the law is only partly fair. I agree that it is good to keep people from steeling other peoples ideas however I think its really illogical that people on youtube cant like cover a song, or post a lyrical video of a song without getting in trouble. I believe that if the person clearly states that this is not their own work then the law shouldn't apply. I think often times copy write laws prevent art from being shared among people and that is a shame

I placed some font onto the picture and made the size 350. I then made it bold and black. When I highlighted the words, it made them white again made made the back ground opposite colors. I thought this was really cool so i screen shotted it and kept it like that

I renamed each layer to have a fitting name and then i moved and shaped them to fit together

For this work space I moved certain panels over so that they would be easier to get to. I also added in just a normal blank sheet to work with, over top of this I drew my initials with the pencil tool in red, making each piece a different layer. With the layer panels I turned the opacity of the C down.

Get to know you game

This is the get to know you game. In this game you have to think of two truths and a lie and presentate them in front of the people your playing with. Whoever gets the most lies correct wins!
I made the first page which is the cover.
Benito made the second page which is the directions.
Andres made the third and fourth page which is the examples.
And Zane made the final page which is the closing cover.
