for this cup i used the pen tool to outline the cup, clicking and holding for the curves, and then i created new layers and deleted the back ground away

using the guiding numbers i clicked a dragged around the cup to form a path

i used the pen tool to make an outline. I used the alt key to retract in points so i could continue making a different path

i used the pen tool to make a path. i used shift to make a straight libe and an angle. I clicked and dragged to make curves. I held down option and comand to move manipulate points

I used the pen tool to make a circle around the points and i had to learn how to use the handles. I then stroked the path and then filled it in
